ESPN2's Friday Night Fights on Halloween night at the Rhode Island Convention Center drew a big crowd to see local talent Gary Balletto.  More than 200 of those in attendance were members of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. They were there to support fellow union members Balletto and Joey Spina. 

For the past couple of months, Balletto has been working with Teamsters Local 251 to organize boxers for J.A.B., the professional boxing union started by former Light Heavyweight Champion Eddie Mustafa Muhammad. Before the event, Local 251 held a fundraiser for Mustafa and J.A.B. Mustafa addressed those in attendance saying he "was very impressed with the support the Teamsters are giving (the union)" and that he looks "forward to doing events like these before fights all over the country." 

The night was an historic night for J.A.B. as it continues to add new members and strengthen its affiliation with the Teamsters.
